Jessica Harrington On Leopardstown & The Return Of Jezki

Jezki In Action With Mark Walsh On Board

Leopardstown Sees The Return of Harrington’s Superstar Jezki

With Christmas on the horizon, it means the four day festival at Leopardstown is getting ever closer. Trainer Jessica Harrington sends a high class team of horses to the Foxrock track with each one aimed at a Grade 1 race each day. Stable star Jezki returns from a long injury lay off to take his place in the 3 mile Grade 1 Christmas hurdle on day 3 of the festival. The former trainer of Moscow Flyer said; “Jezki is fit and ready and will hopefully lineup at Leopardstown, it’s great to have him back”. Harrington sends Sizing John for the 2m 1f Grade 1 Novice Chase on Day 2 where he could face the Willie Mullins’ trained superstar Douvan.

With a good looking team of horses ready for action, Harrington is most excited about the return of Jezki, she added “after all this time off it’s great that he’s ready to go. If things go to plan at Christmas then we can plan ahead and start thinking about Cheltenham in March”. Jezki is not the Co. Kildare trainer’s only hope for a winner at Leopardstown; Sunni May in the Grade 1 Future Champions Novice Hurdle on Day 2 and Our Duke in the 3m Neville Hotels Novice Chase on the final day of action are horses that Harrington is also looking forward to running.

Harrington said; “Leopardstown is a great festival. All the good horses are out and most have had a run this season and things are shaping up nicely, let’s just hope the horses run well and the weather is kind to us”.
