Not a criticism on the whole I agree with all the selections.
I am just wondering what where your reasons why 7-Manicin in the first leg only got selected once and 4- Dewdrop in the fourth leg didn’t get a selection at all.

    1. Hi Derek,

I suppose this is the difficulty making the selections on behalf of other people.

Manicin is a filly dropping back from 10 furlongs to just shy of 6 here and is a horse that I would generally oppose but the absence of any real strong candidate in the opener meant that I used her once as a saver.

Dewdrop is probably the one horse on the card that could leave me embarrassed with the selections. But saying that she was a moderate performer last season who would probably need to improve to take this. She might be better than this grade but on testing ground and her seasonal debut I was happy to take her on with a couple of unexposed types.

Thanks for the comment and fingers crossed we have a bit of luck!

    1. Hi Tony, yeah this comes back to the grading that was discussed in the Bet Like A Pro Pick 6 blog.

I would encourage you to have a read if you are looking for more detail on it but the basic premise is that if you are correct with your A selections you should be looking to get paid out more than once.

So in the case of those two selections they both have a similar core of A selections with some alternatives sprinkled in for some extra cover.

      Thanks for the comment,

      Eamon
