Tote Ireland Weekly Value Report – 25th January 2016

Fairyhouse – Wednesday 20th January

A great day all round for Tote customers at Fairyhouse on Wednesday where on the eve of its 50th anniversary, the Tote Jackpot significantly outperformed its SP equivalent. The pay-out was an impressive €1,243; over two and a half times the pay-out of an SP accumulator. But this wasn’t the only value to be had as Tote Win players also had a great day. In five of the seven races Tote Win outperformed SP and most significantly when Cerca Trova (8/1) won the fifth race paying €13.40. Tote Trifecta players had some outstanding opportunities at Fairyhouse with €5,833 in payouts for the day highlighted by the whopping €2,226 paid for finding the correct combination of Side Saddle (5/1), Jodies Miss (16/1) and Belle Fortune (40/1) in the mare’s maiden hurdle.

Gowran Park – Thursday 21st January 2016

The Goffs Thyestes is one of Ireland’s most historic handicaps and Tote had a value performance for the ages in the race this year. The winner My Murphy (16/1) paid significantly better with Tote Win (€21.50), the Tote Exacta of €158 paid over €60 better than the CSF and the Tote Trifecta of €5,277 was over five times better than the bookmaker’s equivalent.

Dundalk – Friday 22nd January 2016

A tricky day to find winners at Dundalk illustrated by the rollover of both the Tote Pick 6 and Tote Jackpot pools. However, backers of the Treacy Collins’ All Body And Soul (11/2) would have been happy with their Tote Win payout of €8.50. Tote Exacta again proved its dominance over CSF paying better in seven of the eight races with an average payout of €10 higher per race than that of the CSF.

Navan – Saturday 23rd January 2016

The Tote Pick 6 was there for the taking on Saturday at Navan with five of the six winners coming from the first three in the betting. The exception was the quietly backed Edvardo (12/1) in leg five. If you had him in your selection chances are that you went very close and the 13 winning Pick 6 units would have been delighted with the payout of €1,776 for what was a 1,344/1 six horse accumulator.

Leopardstown – Sunday 24th January 2016

With horses like Don’t Touch It (8/11), A Toi Phil (6/4), Douvan (1/14) and Faugheen (3/10) on the card finding winners at Leopardstown was far from difficult on Sunday but with the addition of The Mooch (16/1) or Barely Legal (10/1) there were some seriously tasty payouts to be had. The Tote Pick 6 payout of €1,111 again proved far better value than an accumulator and the Tote Jackpot payout of €475 was almost double its SP equivalent. Tote Trifecta customers again saw incredible value in the fourth race where The Mooch (16/1) led home Just Get Cracking (13/2) and Forty Foot Tom (12/1) for a payout of €4,422 eclipsing the Tricast payout of €1,325.

Remember, these value reports don’t mean that Tote is better on every occasion (we know it isn’t). Its purpose instead is to show the value that was available playing with us in the previous week. We are proud of what we offer to customers and our aim to to show you why.
