Tote Ireland Weekly Value Report -18th January 2016

Thurles – Thursday 14th January

The Tote Placepot once again showed that it can produce mammoth figures at Thurles on Thursday with a pay-out of €23,342. There were a few upsets along the way which led to this big payout including Mullins’ hotpot Indien Rouge (8/11) tailing off in the first and red-hot favorite Bitofapuzzle (3/10) hitting the deck in race five. But fancied runners Don Cossack (1/8) and Westend Star (4/5) hitting the mark meant it wasn’t impossible. One customer must have been holding his breath as Coolnagorna Giggs came to the last in front with the last remaining 0.27 of a unit riding on him.

Dundalk – Friday 15th January

A day for the punters at Dundalk on Friday where the highest priced winner of the night was 9/2 shot Saga Bolton in the sixth race. Despite a relatively predictable string of results there were 2.5 units from some savvy customers who picked up €7,967 in the Tote Pick 6. This must have come as a slight surprise considering the SP accumulator paid only €1,173 but it goes to show the great value that can be had with Tote betting.

Naas – Saturday 16th January

The Tote Jackpot completed a hat-trick of great days for Tote’s multi-leg players at Naas on Saturday with its pay-out of €1,417 easily out-pointing the bookmaker equivalent of €454. In truth, if you were able to find Go Paddy Go (10/1) in the fifth race you would have gone very close to taking home the Jackpot. It was also a good day for Tote Trifecta players with one huge result in the sixth race of €1,955 for the correct combination of Eiri Na Casca (5/1), Finea (16/1) and The Conker Club (9/1).

Leopardstown – Sunday 17th January

With a Tote Pick 6 payout of €17,500 and a Tote Jackpot payout of €1,403 Tote’s multi-leg customers had another good day at Leopardstown on Sunday but it was Tote single race players that went home smiling most. Tote Win put its SP equivalent to shame paying 16% on average for the day with the €26.30 payout on Coral.ie Hurdle winner Henry Higgins (16/1) the highlight. Not to be outdone, the Tote Exacta came in 41% better than its equivalent the CSF for the day. The Coral.ie Hurdle again provided the best figure of the day for the Tote Exacta with a payout of €387 for correctly predicting Henry Higgins to beat Kalkir and if you were able to predict Desoto County would follow them home you could have bagged €6,089 with the Tote Trifecta.

Remember, these value reports don’t mean that Tote is better on every occasion (we know it isn’t). Its purpose instead is to show the value that was available playing with us in the previous week. We are proud of what we offer to customers and our aim to to show you why.
